Iron frame
Iron-frame signs use a baked-paint finish.
Acrylic lines
Carved acrylic lines commonly use 6, 8 or 10 mm acrylic.
Acrylic backing
Acrylic backboards generally use 6, 8 or 10 mm material, selected for the design.
LED light source
Custom LED boards can follow the lettering or artwork. Some constructions use LED strips along the sides.
Silicone options
Colored silicone and molded constructions are also available, depending on the design.
Design details
Line Detail, Wiring and Lighting
The line material and smallest features need to suit the final sign size. Wiring and lighting controls are selected with the installation in mind.
Line detail
The minimum stroke is 5 mm for 3D-carved acrylic and 6 mm for ready-made silicone strips or molded neon. Feasibility still depends on the complete artwork and size.
Connections
Confirm the power supply, cable exit and mounting arrangement for the installation.
Lighting options
Single-color, RGB, dimming, remote-control and programmable effects can be specified by project.

Here is what to expect when planning a custom neon sign order. Production timing depends on completed approvals and the order quantity.
Minimum order: 30 pieces.
Prototype: 3–5 calendar days after the artwork, size, construction and electrical requirements are confirmed.
Batch production: Normally 15 calendar days after sample approval, order confirmation and receipt of the deposit. The schedule varies with order quantity.
Factory: RUOMEI operates a 6,000 m² factory with four assembly production lines.
Quality checks: Lighting, actual power consumption, LEDs and appearance are checked. A 30% sample of the order undergoes 72-hour aging tests, followed by a pre-shipment recheck.
Packaging: Protective film, EPE foam and individual cartons can be used, with adjustments for special products.

Outdoor use requires a separate waterproof construction. Tell us where the sign will be installed so we can review the requirements. Our finished neon signs have not been tested for an IP rating.
Can the power supply, plug and packaging be customized?
Yes. Power supplies and plugs are selected for the destination country and project. Cable length and packaging can be specified with your order.
