RUOMEI / BUYER’S GUIDE

Custom LED Sign Warranty: What Does a Free Replacement Actually Include?

A replacement product at no charge does not mean every cost of getting a display working again is included. RUOMEI’s confirmed standard warranty is one year from the customer’s receipt date, including neon signs. For a covered product-quality fault, we can make a replacement product free of charge; freight, import costs and local repair expenses are excluded.

Real finished sign example. Warranty coverage depends on the agreed order terms and the cause of the fault; a product image does not establish a warranty outcome.

1. Record the period and its starting date

RUOMEI’s current confirmed standard is one year from the customer’s receipt of the goods. Record the applicable warranty in the quotation and order confirmation. Keep the receipt date with the order reference so it can be checked if a problem arises.

If a project needs a different period, raise it before the order is agreed. Other periods are arranged against the customer’s requirement and corresponding price. Do not assume a longer period from an older brochure or an unrelated product page applies to a new order.

2. Separate replacement cost from delivery and site costs

Cost or issue RUOMEI confirmed standard scope
Covered product-quality fault Replacement product can be made free of charge.
Freight for the replacement Not included in the standard free-replacement scope.
Import charges Not included.
Local repair expenses Not included.
Non-quality damage, including human-caused damage or natural disasters Not within free coverage.

For a rollout, ask who will coordinate the local work and shipment if a unit needs replacement. Get any additional arrangement in writing instead of including it in your customer proposal on an assumption.

3. Describe the fault before deciding the remedy

A dark area, a damaged face and an installation problem may have different causes. Send the order and product reference, receipt information, a description of what changed, and clear photos or video. Include the installation and power configuration, plus any changes made after delivery.

These are useful review details, not a new rule that missing a particular photo automatically cancels coverage. Ask what further information is needed and agree the next step before returning a product or arranging local repair. Do not treat every visible problem as proof of a manufacturing fault.

4. Distinguish a fault from a requested design change

If you want a different logo, size, material or function after approving the design, that is a change request to review and price, rather than a covered fault. A product made incorrectly against the approved requirements is a separate issue and should be reviewed against those requirements.

Keep the approved drawing, configuration and sample notes available. They help identify whether the supplied product matches the order and what is being requested now. Do not combine warranty replacement, redesign and transport-damage questions into one unexplained request for a new sign.

5. Align your customer promise with the factory terms

A reseller or sign company may offer its customer a wider service package. Compare that promise with the factory scope before quoting: product replacement, freight, import costs and local work should each have an identified responsibility.

If your customer expects a longer warranty or additional service, send that requirement with the project brief. Ask which terms can be agreed and what they cost. We do not promise a universal repair turnaround, replacement arrival date or local service arrangement in the standard policy.

6. Confirm the terms alongside the product brief

For a new project, send artwork, finished size and quantity, then identify the destination and any warranty or local-service requirement your customer has specified. Ask the quote to state the agreed period, starting event, covered remedy and excluded costs.

Review our custom LED neon options and use the form below to discuss the order. If you are reporting an existing fault, include its order reference so the discussion relates to the supplied configuration and agreed terms.
